“Don’t miss #CESONSPIKE this Tuesday. The big man, Reggie from Nintendo, joins me live to discuss why he thinks 2012 is the year of Wii-U.”
While it will probably be typical PR jargon, I am praying that Nintendo divulges at least something about their forthcoming system. Needless to say, I will be watching Spike TV this Tuesday at 4.

Quick Update: Ubisoft has announced (via a press release) that the fantastic Rayman Origins is officially coming out on March 16th for the Nintendo 3DS. After playing the demo on XBOX Live, I cannot wait to add this outstanding game to my collection and will be keeping an eye on the 3DS version.
March should be a great month for Nintendo 3DS owners.
Quick Update: Eagerly anticipated RPG Final Fantasy XIII-2, will soon be appearing on the Playstation Network in the form of a demo. It was revealed on the latest PS Blogcast that Square Enix will launch a demo for the game in the very near future so be sure to check back for a more solid release date.
Final Fantasy XIII-2 releases in North America on January 31.

Here are the latest Japanese hardware sales for last week. The Nintendo 3DS continues its domination selling nearly 198,000 units while the PS3 and PSP (original) follow behind the handheld.

Rumor Alert: Japanese publication Nikkei Trendy is reporting that Nintendo is busy creating the inevitable follow up the the popular 3DS, the Nintendo 3DS Lite, and is stated to have “improved thickness and a better battery life”.
Mark this one under rumor for now my friends, but we all know Nintendo’s track record for updates. More as it develops.
